Paranoia: Islam replaces Communism
It is fascinating to see how common enemies evolve rapidly, as a need of fragmented groups to feel "united" against someone, an idea or a religion. Islam has replaced Communism in the paranoia of Europeans elite, probably also of the USA. In the same meeting, I once faced Western Europeans and former Communists converging on the risks of a rising Islam community and visibility in Europe.
